Our Caldecott Shortlist, Part 1

On January 23rd, the American Library Association will announce this year’s Newbery and Caldecott medals. Here at Hooray for Books, we’re selecting our favorites to win! Here is our first round of picks for the Caldecott.

Heart and Soul by Kadir Nelson; Balzer + Bray (HarperCollins Childrens); Ages 7-12

Wonderstruck by Brian Selznick; Scholastic Press; Ages 8-12

    After I initially left a comment I appear to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get 4 emails with the exact same comment. Perhaps there is an easy method you can remove me from that service? Appreciate it!

      I think you may have to change notifications settings on your end — I can’t see a way to do it on my end. Sorry!
